2-301.14 When to Wash (P) Employee observed washing hands. She turned off the faucet handle with her bare hand then went to begin cutting fruit. Hands shall be washed and when switching tasks, when any other source of contamination may have occurred. Use a barrier such as a paper towel to turn the faucet off to avoid re-contaminating hands. CDI - Discussed proper handwashing procedures with employee and they washed their hands, used a paper towel to turn of faucet and put on clean gloves. |

3-501.19 (1)(a)Time as a Public Health Control (Pf) There is a TPHC policy in place for the salads and sandwiches. TPHC time/temp logs for the salads are used but several discard times are missing. The school's written TPHC policy shall be followed CDI - New employees recently hired. PIC had educational discussion with employees and highlighted the log to indicate fields that shall not be missed. Log updated correctly for todays service. |
