4-501.11 Good Repair and Proper Adjustment - Equipment (C). - REPEAT - Observed condensation on the exterior surface of the freezer door.
Good Repair and Proper Adjustment-
(A) EQUIPMENT shall be maintained in a state of repair and condition that meets the requirements specified under Parts 4-1 and 4-2.
(B) EQUIPMENT components such as doors, seals, hinges, fasteners, and kick plates shall be kept intact, tight, and adjusted in accordance with manufacturer's specifications.
(C) Cutting or piercing parts of can openers shall be kept sharp.
4-205.10 Food Equipment, Certification and Classification- C. Observed no-approved crates being used as shelving in the walk-in freezer. Except for toasters, mixers, microwave ovens, water heaters, and hoods, food equipment shall be used in accordance with the manufacturer’s intended use and certified or classified for sanitation by an American National Standards Institute (ANSI)-accredited certification program. Remove these crates and replace with approved shelving. |
