4-202.15 - Can Openers: Cutting or piercing parts of can openers shall be readily removable for cleaning and for replacement.
[REPEAT] The large can openers (2 of them) are no longer approved due to requiring a tool to disassemble them to remove the food contact piercing blades for cleaning. Discussed options with PIC of approved types (Pull pin types). When it is time to replace them, they must be replaced with ones that are approved which allows the blades to be easily cleaned without the use of a tool to remove the blades. |

5-501.111 - Areas, Enclosures, and Receptacles, Good Repair: Storage areas, enclosures, and receptacles for refuse, recyclables, and returnables shall be maintained in good repair.
During inspection the lid for the dumpster was found to be damaged and falling into the dumpster. This lid will need to be replaced/ repaired. |
