Non food contact surfaces of equipment shall be free of unnecessary ledges, projections, and crevices, and designed and constructed to allow easy cleaning and to facilitate maintenance. Milk crates do not meet this requirement. You must use dunnage racks for this purpose. |

5-501.13 Receptacles for refuse, recyclables, and returnables shall be durable, cleanable, insect- and rodent-resistant, leakproof, and non-absorbent.
Observed a dumpster that needs to be replaced. This dumpster was badly rusted out. You must have this dumpster replaced.
5-501.16(A) Provide receptacles of sufficient capacity to hold refuse, recyclables, and returnables that accumulate. The dumpsters were overfilled. They are not emptied as scheduled. This causing an accumulation of refuse on the ground because the dumpsters lids are left opened. An additional dumpster is needed.
5-502.11 Waste receptacles shall be emptied at a frequency to preclude strong odors or pest harborage. Observed spillage on the surrounding area around the dumpsters. This need to be cleaned up. |
