Covers for chairs, bean bags, and cushions in classrooms should be removed and hot washed and hot dried frequently. Covers should be washed at least monthly or more often if visibly stained. Keep individual student blankets stored off of common seating areas and keep different individual student blankets and clothing items from touching. Cleaning chemicals, chemical surface wipes, and aerosol disinfectants should be stored in areas out of reach to students and accessible only by staff.
