General Comment:
15A NCAC 18A .2820 (b). All hazardous items must be stored behind lock and key.- Observed baby oil bottle stored in unlocked cabinet in 2’-3’ classroom. Ensure to keep all hazardous items has label “Keep out of reach of children” and any other label “Warning or Caution” shall be in lock cabinet or storage at anytime.
NOTE: **Lock storage rooms and cabinets shall include those which are unlocked with a combination lock, electric or magnetic device, key pad, key, or equivalent locking device, keep/store keys at least 5ft or higher at all time**
15A NCAC 18A .2820 (b).Keys used to access hazardous item storage must be out of reach of children (5 ft above the floor) and stored separately from lock.- Observed magnetic device to unlock the cabinet stored below and less than 5ft in 2’-3’ classroom. Keep all key devices at 5ft or higher at all time. |
