Spoke with PIC’s son about ways to increase lighting throughout kitchen areas. Options given include: 1) Removal of fixture covers to allow more light to reach work surfaces. If fixture covers are removed, shielded lightbulbs must be used in fixtures. 2) Replace existing bulbs with brighter bulbs, but keep fixture covers in place for shielding/protection.
