7-204.11 Sanitizers, Criteria - Chemicals (P)
The chlorine concentration of bleach sanitizer being held inside of a spray bottle was over 200 ppm during today’s inspection. Chemical sanitizers applied to food-contact surfaces shall be within the required, safe concentration range. For chlorine/bleach-based sanitizers, this range is 50 ppm to 200 ppm. The REHS diluted the sanitizer solution during the inspection, and a final chlorine concentration of 200 ppm was observed. CDI |
