3-304.15 (A) Gloves, Use Limitation (P). Employees working in the dish machine area were observed to handle soiled items and then handle clean items from the dishmachine w/o changing single use gloves. Single use gloves shall be used for only one task such as working with soiled equipment, used for no other purpose, and discarded when damaged or soiled. CDI - PIC instructed employees to change gloves and wash hands properly before working with clean utensils. |

Utilize rapid cooling methods - loosely cover, ice baths, rapid cooling equipment, direct air flow - to cool foods quickly. CDI - PIC placed pan of salad on ice in WIC and item cooled quickly. |

5-203.14 Backflow Prevention Device, When Required (P). Beverage dispensers (tea and coffee) do not have backflow prevention in place. In outdoor can wash area, faucet on left has no backflow prevention. Prevent backflow or backsiphonage at each point of use in a water supply system by installing an approved backflow device. PIC and maintenance ordered proper backflow prevention devices during the inspection. Verification visit to be completed once they are installed.
5-202.14 Backflow Prevention Device, Design Standard (P). Indoor mop sink faucet has splitter attached with only atmospheric backflow protection. This is not adequate for continuous pressure. A backflow or backsiphonage prevention device installed on a water supply system shall meet standards for construction, installation, maintenance, inspection, and testing for that specific application and type of device. PIC and maintenance ordered proper backflow prevention device during the inspection. Verification visit to be completed once they are installed.
