The widest point of the pool was measured from the corner by the main steps over to the interior corner diagonally to the left and was measured at 36'2" wide; the ring buoy ropes should be 50' long. Ropes trimmed to meet requirements during inspection, CDI.
16 4 Premises: fence or barrier with self-closing, self-latching gates properly constructed and maintained No No No .2528(a) Maintain 45" between bottom horizontal and next horizontal on fence and/or gate (post-May 2010). There is a horizontal bar around the entire perimeter of the fence with 36-37" between the bottom fence run and the bar, and from the top of the bar to the top fence rung. There is an electrical box on the outside of the fence, behind the HVAC unit, that is less than 45' from the box to the middle bar on the fence.
17 4 Premises: decks unobstructed, properly drained, free of trip hazards No No No .2522(b) Provide at least 5 ft of clear walking space around the pool at all times. Numerous chairs and tables are within 5' of the edge of the pool along the back and left side of the pool decking. .2537(2) Decks shall be kept free of trip hazards or offsets greater than 1/2" due to deterioration or changes from original deck profile. In multiple areas, there were tall/dense weeds that created a trip hazard; remove weeds.
29 2 Dressing and sanitary facilities: required fixtures provided, clean, and in good repair No No No .2526(j) Provide soap and soap dispenser, no glass, at each sink. There was no soap in the women's restroom; soap was provided during inspection. The hose bibb in the men's restroom was leaking, repair.
30 2 Dressing and sanitary facilities: approved water source, no cross connections No No No .2512(b) Water introduced into the pool, either directly or by the circulation system, shall be supplied through an air gap, anti-siphon vacuum breaker, or backflow preventer. The backflow preventer in the pump room was leaking from an area that did not appear to be related release of backflow. The leaking backflow device may need to be inspected and/or repair/replaced.
