GENERAL COMMENT:
5-202.13 Backflow Prevention, Air Gap.
The three compartment sink drain pipes are set below the flood level rim of the floor drain. An air gap between the water supply inlet and the flood level rim of the PLUMBING FIXTURE, EQUIPMENT, or nonFOOD EQUIPMENT shall be at least twice the diameter of the water supply inlet and may not be less than 25 mm (1 inch). A plumber was onsite during inspection completing drain pipe repairs unrelated to the inspection. EHS informed the plumber and PIC that the drain pipes need to raised at least 1 inch above the flood level rim of the floor drain. The plumber informed PIC that they will return to raise the drain pipes next week. ***EHS will return to verify within 72hrs to verify*** NO POINTS TAKEN |
