3-302.15; Core; Oranges in reach-in cooler found partially cut with stickers still remaining- some cuts are through stickers. Raw fruits and vegetables shall be thoroughly washed in water to remove soil, stickers, and other contaminants before being cut, combined with other ingredients, cooked, served, or offered for human consumption in ready-to-eat form. Since oranges are partially cut prior to service, the stickers must be removed. Otherwise, if the oranges are offered as a whole product (uncut), the stickers need not be removed. |
