4-501.11 Inside of the Walk in Freezer is coated in a white plastic coating (that I have observed in other restaurants in Wake county). Areas of interior walls are peeling and some has been removed. Maintain equipment in good repair. Restore the interior surface to a continuous, non-peeling surface. Surface inside the freezer may have multiple surfaces if some of the coating can be carefully scored and removed to expose the metal surface underneath. Avoid tearing the white plastic coating off. Professional evaluation may be needed. |
