3-501.17; Priority Foundation; Several hot dog containers were observed with the incorrect date mark sticker on the container's lid. The date mark sticker on the lid indicated an expired date in some cases or otherwise did not match what was on the package inside. According to PIC, the date mark stickers placed on packages of hot dogs inside containers were the correct date and within a 7 day window. Dates shall be accurate to ensure foods are not held past 7 days. CDI - old containers were switched out for new ones. Ensure old containers are washed and sanitized after each use. Do not continually place new date stickers on old containers inside the reach-in unit. Full points may be taken for repeat violations. |
