2-301.14 - P FOOD EMPLOYEES shall clean their hands immediately before engaging in FOOD preparation including working with exposed FOOD, clean EQUIPMENT and UTENSILS and after touching bare human body parts; after using the toilet room; after eating, or drinking; after handling soiled EQUIPMENT or UTENSILS; during FOOD preparation, as often as necessary to remove soil and contamination and to prevent cross contamination when changing tasks; when switching between working with raw FOOD and working with READY-TO-EAT FOOD; before donning gloves for working with FOOD; and after engaging in other activities that contaminate the hands.
The employee who is at the window taking orders and touching the restaurant pagers/beeper with gloved hands was getting an order ready without removing gloves and washing hands. CDI- Employee was educated on when to wash hands and washed hands before continuing with the order. |
