Ensure to provide a correct chlorine sanitizer concentration between 50 -200 ppm every 24 hours. Observed chlorine sanitizer solution bottle in a younger side restroom measured at 1000 ppm or more. Observed the center without testing strips to measure their sanitizing solutions. Please obtain the testing strips to ensure correct concentration of the solution made. |

When a chlorine solution is prepared by a child care center employee for use as an approved disinfectant, then the solution shall be prepared for use within 24 hours, and a testing method shall be used to ensure compliance with the prescribed chlorine concentration (500 -800 ppm).- Observed chlorine disinfectant solution measured at 1000 ppm at a younger side restroom. Observed 0.00 ppm at the older side restroom. Ensure to provide correct chlorine disinfectant solution between 500-800 ppm at all time.

15A NCAC 18A .2820 (g).Purses, that do not contain hazardous items, must be stored 5 ft above the floor, behind lock and key, or behind a child safety lock.- Observed teacher purse store on a desk less than 5ft. Teacher is sitting on a desk with her purse while monitoring children sleeping, and there is time she walks away from the item. Ensure to put all personal belongings that do not contain hazardous items at 5ft or higher at all time. |
