4-903.11(A)(C) Store single-use and single-service articles in a clean, dry location; where they are not exposed to splash, dust, or other contamination; and at least 6 inches above the floor.
Observed several single service packaging items touching the floor, or stored within 6-inches of the floor. Employee noted that most items were surplus due to the recent holiday rush. CDI: single service items that had come into contact with floor or possible contamination were discarded. Discussion with manager regarding pre planning for storage accommodations when expecting surplus. |
