General Comments- Facility was discovered to be cooling chicken when it is only permitted to cool rice. Since previous inspection the PIC stated they have acquired a new RIC since the previous inspector told them they would need more equipment if they were to cool more items. The new RIC acquired is a glass door RIC that is only permitted for the “storage and/or display of prepackaged or bottled products only” as per the data plate inside the unit. Establishment is only permitted to cook and cool one item and the PIC has decided that they will only cook and cool chicken from now on and no longer cook and cool rice. PIC stated he will buy a restaurant approved rice cooker to make rice daily and discard it at the end of the day. - Permit will be amended to reflect these changes.
