General CommentsObserved food employee double gloving as a substitute for handwashing. EHS educated PIC on proper glove usage and handwashing procedures. Ensure double gloving is not used as a substitute for handwashing. When EHS arrived, it appeared that food employee had stepped away from cutting tomatoes to don gloves. Ensure no BHC with RTE foods. EHS asked PIC about cleaning frequency of in-use cutting boards on prep unit and at pizza prep station. PIC stated that cuttings boards are being W/R/S every 4-6 hours. EHS educated PIC on ensuring that they are W/R/S AT LEAST every 4 hours. At time of visit, facility had not been open for more than 4 hours, so boards had not been in use for more than 4 hours. No violations marked today. EHS helped PIC fill out digital copy of TPHC form and sent it via email.
