PIC made a call to their pest control company during today’s inspection and made an appointment for pest control to come this week. EHS will perform follow up visits to ensure pest control compliance is increasing, and to observe invoice for pest control. EHS further notes that the facility and all facilities in this plaza are closing. The plaza in being taken over by DOT. Several vendors in the plaza have already left. As a result the plaza is no longer being taken care of. There is trash all throughout the parking lot, several vendors buildings are being demolished and as a result pest activity in the plaza has drastically increased in the last few months throughout. PIC stated that DOT is planning on moving the facility out of the plaza by December. EHS will return for compliance visits weekly on pest control.
