General CommentsEstablishment uses time as a public health control on the following items beginning at 10:30AM: chicken nuggets, garlic/cheese French bread, black eyed peas, mashed potatoes, PPJ pack and Pep pack all to be discarded by 2:30PM. PIC has much improved since last inspection. Good date marking observed. Good handwashing observed. Improvements observed since last inspection. Cafeteria serves a HSP population Pittsboro Elementary School PreK breakfast and lunch. Establishment is a Risk 4 establishment. Food service permit reviewed. Potable water, sewer, food service equipment, menu, hours, food sources, etc. has not changed. Bleach sanitizer at 3rd vat utensil sink 50PPM. Waste pipe attached to 3 vat utensil sink and two vat food prep sink does not meet NC plumbing code. CDI- PIC is aware the direct waste plumbing at the three vat utensil sink and 2 vat prep sink does not meet NC Plumbing Code. The PIC has been instructed to contact Building Inspections Dept for follow up as a critical violation correction. PIC needs to make sure employee health reporting symptoms and illnesses are discussed among all employees often to prevent food borne illnesses.
