General CommentsNOTE: EHS spoke with PIC about air conditioning issue. Air conditioning has not been working at the facility. All units have been affected due to the lack of A/C. EHS inspected Maroon market 6/24/26. During inspection EHS found that the prep top was not functioning as stated my the PIC at Maroon Market. The ambient air temp was 65F. Facility currently has very limited volume and is able to serve out of the cold drawers for now. EHS will verify that the unit is fixed within 3 days. Kitchen area was very hot during inspection. If facilities are not able to safely serve food due to increased temperatures, facilities will have to close. EHS asked to speak with owner of the operation, however PIC did not have a contact. EHS spoke with several vendors at Monarch market about the air conditioning issue. Several vendors have had issues with keeping up with food temperatures since the air conditioning stopped working. Food safety needs to be maintained at all times. If food safety cannot be maintained, push for compliance will follow. For questions please contact EHS at 980.402.4689
