4-903.11(A)(C) Store single-use and single-service articles in a clean, dry location; where they are not exposed to splash, dust, or other contamination; and at least 6 inches above the floor.
EHS observed a few clear single-use tops on the floor in the storage shed. EHS asked PIC what they normally do with single use items that fall on the ground and PIC stated that they have someone come sweep up the items and throw them away. EHS also observed a few sleeves of French fry containers on the ground in the storage shed. Since these items are in the sleeve and the sleeve has not been compromised, these items are okay to be kept and used. PIC is going to have someone come out and pick up these items and get them on a shelf. |

EHS observed flattened pieces of cardboard underneath the fountain drink dispenser at the drive thru window. The syrup to two of the drinks on the fountain drink dispenser leak and cause a mess on the shelf underneath the dispensing unit. PIC placed the cardboard pieces underneath there to absorb the syrup and changes them frequently. Fountain drink dispenser needs to be repaired to proper working order so they do not leak.
PIC told EHS upon arrival that the fountain drink dispenser in the lobby was leaking this morning when they arrived. Someone had already come out to work on the dispenser and attempted to fix it but they would also be returning tomorrow morning. While EHS was at the establishment, the fountain drink dispenser continued to leak water from underneath. |
