Drinking fountains shall be provided with adequate water pressure and be properly regulated (i.e. water pressure should be regulated so that an individual’s mouth does not come in contact with the nozzle and so that the water does not splash on the floor). 15A NCAC 18A 2406 (b).- Observed water fountains upper level with really low pressure. Water pressure need to be adjusted and keep in good repair.

Fixtures shall be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2409 (b).- Observed disrepair faucet and soap dispenser in boy restroom upper level. Repair needed. Observed hand washing sinks throughout the school covered with dusts, Better cleaning needed and keep all handwashing sinks clean.
Soap and individual towels or approved hand-drying devices shall be provided. 15A NCAC 18A .2409 (c).- Observed no soap available at the dispenser in boy restroom upper level and men staff restroom lower level. Ensure to always provide all handwashing supplies at all hand sinks. |
