7-202.12 Conditions of Use. Priority (P)
Poisonous or toxic materials shall be used according to manufacturer's use directions included in labeling, and, for a pesticide,
manufacturer's label instructions that state that use is allowed in a food establishment.
It was observed that a can of Hot Shot insect killer found to be stored in the cabinet under the three-compartment sink had listed on the manufacturer’s label on the can that it was supposed to be used for residential use only.
CDI: The person in charge (PIC) removed the aerosol can from the mobile food unit.
7-204.11 Sanitizers, Criteria. Priority (P)
Chemical sanitizers, including chemical sanitizing solutions generated on-site, and other chemical antimicrobials applied to food-contact surfaces shall meet the requirements specified in 40 CFR 180.940
It was observed that the sanitizing solution was too strong.
CDI: The PIC remade the sanitizing solution to measure at the correct concentration. |
