The facility is using low-splash bleach for their sanitizer in the spray bottle. Low-splash bleach is not rated to use on food-contact surfaces. 7-202.12 Use poisonous or toxic materials according to the manufacturer's label. Use pesticides approved for use in commercial food service only. P. Correction - The low-splash will no longer be used as a sanitizer. Only use regular bleach on food contact surfaces; do not use scented or low-splash/no-splash bleach. Per PIC all utensils and equipment are washed at the commissary using their sanitizer from the dispenser. |
