Fries contacted the employee’s hand and arm and then fell into the bin with the bulk fries multiple times. EHS gave PIC the option of reheating fries to an internal cook temp of 145F minimum. If employees are unable to scoop fries without touching hands then a glove must be worn to prevent contamination. CDI- PIC voluntarily disposed of fries and instructed employee to wear gloves.
