General comment: The ice machine is not being used at this time, so no points are lost. Prior to using again, complete the required repairs or replace. PIC stated it will be removed by the end of summer if not before. It is not planned to be replaced. Contact health department prior to using ice from a different machine to ensure it is properly maintained.
The ice maker has an "Out of Order Sign". Keep equipment in good repair. Repeat
The frame holding the sliding doors on the ice maker have crevices that allow the accumulation of residue. Repair to allow easy cleaning and to facilitate maintenance and to be free of unnecessary ledges, projections, and crevices. Suggest using a food- grade sealant and applying to leave a smooth surface that allows the proper use of the doors as well as easy cleaning. Repeat
