General CommentsREHS thoroughly sanitized their thermometer at the beginning and throughout the inspection. REHS and PIC's thermometers had their calibrations verified in ice water.

It was found that the top of the fliptop cooler was not turned on. The bottom had the display reading at 45 degrees F, but REHS placed their thermometer in there and it was found that the ambient temperature was 42.2 degrees F after a long period of time. REHS will return on Thursday 3/12/26 to verify that this fliptop cooler is fixed. ( A ) ( 2 ) Except during preparation, cooking, or cooling, or when time is used as the public health control, cold TIME/TEMPERATURE CONTROL FOR SAFETY FOOD with the exception of EGGS shall be maintained at 41F or below. CDI - PIC ordered more during the inspection. REHS left some test strips to be used in the meantime. NONFOOD-CONTACT SURFACES of EQUIPMENT shall be cleaned at a frequency necessary to preclude accumulation of soil residues. 4-601.11 Equipment, Food-Contact Surfaces, Nonfood-Contact Surfaces, and Utensils- Multiple pans found encrusted with grease deposits, rendering them no longer easily cleanable. Pans can no longer be used unless grease deposits are removed. (B) The FOOD-CONTACT SURFACES of cooking EQUIPMENT and pans shall be kept free of encrusted grease deposits and other soil accumulations. (C) NONFOOD-CONTACT SURFACES of EQUIPMENT shall be kept free of an accumulation of dust, dirt, FOOD residue, and other debris.
51 0 Plumbing installed; proper backflow devices Yes No No 5-202.13 Backflow Prevention, Air Gap- Pipe extenders were installed on the drainage pipes from the 3 compartment sink, which extend beneath the flood level rim. There must be an air gap of a minimum of 1 inch between the water supply inlet (the pipes) and the flood level rim of the floor drain. CDI - REHS will reassess next inspection. An air gap between the water supply inlet and the flood level rim of the PLUMBING FIXTURE, EQUIPMENT, or NONFOOD EQUIPMENT shall be at least twice the diameter of the water supply inlet and may not be less than 1 inch.
