General Comments

Pre-permit inspection conducted with CPO Jason Page. Coping chipped and flaking in places. Recommend repairing/replacing. No label on pool pump. Verified PAC-Fab Challenger pump with 3 HP motor. Facility built without a vacuum line and 3 skimmers. Condition of the permit is that pool use a portable vacuum to clean the pool. - Facility has a portable vacuum. Doors to maintenance room not self-closing and self-latching. Will need to be kept closed and locked when not in use so that the public is not able to use that to access the pool. Conduit damaged and not attached to the pump motor, exposing wiring. - G.S. 130A-2(3) Ensure no electrical hazards exist in the pump room. - Pre-permit item. Motor not bonded to the pool. - G.S. 130A-2(3) Bonding wire shall be attached to the pump motor. - Pre-permit item. Pre-permit inspection did not pass. All items noted “pre-permit item” need to be addressed before a permit can be issued.
