General CommentsEHS spoke with Manager Mike Rozycki about receiving ROP hams from “Hello Sailor” in Cornelius. EHS found that according to approval letter, the variance for ROP does NOT extended to any facilities not listed in approval letter. EHS found that some hams had been removed from vacuum packaging and wrapped in plastic wrap, these products were marked as opened on 2-16, had exceeded date marking limit. See violation #11 and #23 notes for more information. Facility will not receive ROP hams from “Hello Sailor” anymore, according to PIC Mike Rozycki. PIC stated they will discuss process, will receive hams from US Foods, will reach out to state for variance amendment if wanting to continue this ROP process at Milkbread Davidson.
