Employee beverages are to be in a cup with a lid and a straw, stored below facility items to prevent contamination.

P -EHS observed raw shelled eggs being stored above cooked greens in the glass door cooler. Raw eggs are not to be stored above ready to eat products. Raw eggs were moved to the bottom of the cooler during inspection. CDI
16 1.50 Food-contact surfaces: cleaned & sanitized No No No 4-601.11 Equipment food-contact surfaces and utensils shall be clean to sight and touch. Pf -EHS observed numerous dishes in the facility with food debris and residue on them. All dishes are to be clean before being stored for use. EHS will return within 10 days to complete verification that dishes are being more thoroughly cleaned.
39 1 Contamination prevented during food preparation, storage & display No No No 3-307.11 Protect food from contamination sources not specifically noted by code. -EHS observed two 2 liter sodas being stored in the ice of the soda fountain. Ice in this compartment is for consumption.The 2 liter sodas are considered a contaminate to drinking ice. Find an alternate way to cool down the 2 liters.
43 0.50 In-use utensils: properly stored No No No 3-304.12 Store in-use utensils in a clean, dry place, in food with handles out, in 135F or greater water, or in running water that quickly moves food particles to the drain. -EHS observed a bulk container of rice with the scoop handle down in the product. Ensure handle of scoop stays out of product at all times.
47 0 Equipment, food & non-food contact surfaces approved, cleanable, properly designed, constructed & used No No No 4-205.10 Except for toasters, mixers, microwave ovens, water heaters, and hoods, food equipment shall be used in accordance with the manufacturer’s intended use and certified or classified for sanitation by an ANSI-accredited certification program. -EHS observed rice cookers not approved for commercial kitchen use. Replace rice cookers with those approved for commercial use. Please contact EHS for verification that new equipment is approved for commercial use.
54 0.50 Garbage & refuse properly disposed; facilities maintained No No No 5-501.111 Storage areas, enclosures, and receptacles for refuse, recyclables, and returnables shall be maintained in good repair. -EHS observed one trash can behind the facility with large cracks/damage. Contact provider of cans for a replacement.

Repair floor in this area. -EHS observed a few holes in the wall behind the 3 vat sink and a small crack directly above the handsink. Repair wall damage in these high moisture areas. 6-501.16 After use, mops shall be placed in a position to air-dry without soiling walls, equipment, or supplies. -EHS observed the mop being stored on the wall with the mop head at the top. Mops are to be stored with the mop head as the lowest point to prevent contamination of the handle and walls around.
