6-201.11 Floors, Walls and Ceilings - Cleanability (C)
-Some areas of the ceiling in the kitchen area are chipping paint and need to be scrapped and repainted. Ex: ceiling above the three-door reach-in cooler and ceiling next to the hood ventilation system above the stacked ovens.
-Clean, scrape and repaint some of the door frames, doors, walls and other areas in the kitchen and dining area that are starting to chip and are not smooth and easily cleanable.
Except as specified under § 6-201.14 and except for antislip floor coverings or applications that may be used for safety reasons, floors, floor coverings, walls, wall coverings, and ceilings shall be designed, constructed, and installed so they are SMOOTH and EASILY CLEANABLE. |
