General Comments

#1. Floors shall be free of obstacles to cleaning. 15A NCAC 18A .1309 (a). Caulk/seal base of can wash to floor in janitor closet. Enclose base of can wash near floor in janitor closet.(all halls) #3. Keep all walls and ceilings clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .1310. Continue to touch-up paint/repaint throughout where needed. Wipe/clean scuff marks from wall. #32. Observed damaged foot board on (1) resident bed. Inform family member and have them to replace damaged footboard on resident bed.All furniture, bed springs, mattresses, sleeping mats, draperies, curtains, shades, venetian blinds, or other furnishings in institutions shall be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .1319 (a). #33. Soiled linen shall be placed in a covered container or bag at the point of use and stored and handled so as to contain and minimize aerosolization of and exposure to any waste products. 15A NCAC 18A .1319 (b). Observed soiled linen stored in uncovered large linen bin. Either bag soil linen and place in large soiled linen bin or provide a cover to cover the large soiled linen bin. #36. Non-food contact surfaces of equipment shall be cleaned at such intervals as to keep them in a clean and sanitary condition. See rule .1320 (c). Defrost and clean freezer section of refrigeration units.
