NO POINTS: #20-Critical Violation-In child care centers, areas accessible to children shall be free of identified lead poisoning hazards as defined in G.S. 130A-131.7(7). Observed drinking water testing for lead not completed. Needs to be done ASAP. #29-Critical Violation-All hazardous items must be stored behind lock and key. 15A NCAC 18A .2820 (b). Observed eyeglass cleaner with warnings stored in child's cubby. Hazardous items must be locked up, CDI. #30-Approved non-hazardous products must be stored 5 ft above the floor or behind lock and key. 15A NCAC 18A .2820 (b), (c ) and (d). Observed bin of sanitizer stored on counter top. Must be 5 feet above floor even though children cannot reach it.
