#4. Non-food-contact surfaces of equipment shall be cleaned at such intervals as to keep them in a clean and sanitary condition. 15A NCAC 18A .1618 (c ). Observed underside of ice machine dispenser guard soiled. Thoroughly clean underside of ice/water dispenser (non food contact area). Observed leak on base of ice/water dispenser in nourishment area.. Repair leak on ice/water dispenser. #12. The walls and ceilings of all rooms and areas shall be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .1608. Observed lower section of wall in wheel chair storage area scuffed and minor damage. Repair lower section of wall and repaint. Recommend placing wall guard along lower section of wall where wheel chairs are stored. Repair corner of walls in rooms and touch up paint where needed (area where recliners are located within residents room).
