General CommentsREHS and facility thermometers' calibration verified in an ice bath. All read 32F. REHS thoroughly sanitized thermometer at the beginning and throughout the inspection. Inspection co-led and report typed by Erika Scheppelmann. For additional trainings I can be reached at escheppelmann@dconc.gov. During inspection REHS informed person in charge that if they have issues with plumbing at the 3-compartment sink in the future they will have to provide air gaps for each compartment prior to the above floor grease trap.

No sticker residue noted on equipment today.
51 1 Plumbing installed; proper backflow devices No Yes Yes 5-203.14 Backflow Prevention Device, When Required.- REPEAT- REHS was unable to locate/observe a backflow prevention device installed on the incoming water lines of the coffee machines, the soda machine, and the ice machine. A PLUMBING SYSTEM shall be installed to preclude backflow of a solid, liquid, or gas contaminant into the water supply system at each point of use at the FOOD ESTABLISHMENT, including on a hose bibb if a hose is attached or on a hose bibb if a hose is not attached and backflow prevention is required by LAW, by: (A) Providing an air gap as specified under § 5-202.13 P; or (B) Installing an APPROVED backflow Verification required. I will return in 72 hours to verify that backflow prevention devices have been installed on the incoming water lines of the coffee machines, soda machine, and ice machines and/or documentation has been provided stating that the machines have approved internal backflow prevention systems.

Noted mop handles directly touching the floor during the inspection. After use, mops shall be placed in a position that allows them to air-dry without soiling walls, EQUIPMENT, or supplies. (B) Lockers or other suitable facilities shall be located in a designated room or area where contamination of FOOD, EQUIPMENT, UTENSILS, LINENS, and SINGLE-SERVICE and SINGLE-USE ARTICLES can not occur.
