5-202.12 Handwashing Sinks, Installation (C)
No hot water was available at the kitchen hand sink during today’s inspection. The person in charge stated that the building’s hot water heater had gone out the previous week, and that the town was currently getting quotes to have the hot water heater replaced. A handwashing sink shall be equipped to provide water at a temperature of at least 100F through a mixing valve or combination faucet. The nutrition site uses single-use platters and utensils when serving its clients, and the food pans are returned to the hospital’s (Wilson Medical Center) kitchen for cleaning and sanitizing. |
