15A NCAC 18A .1826(a) Handwashing sinks as required in Rule .1825 in this section shall be supplied with hand soap, and either individual, disposable towels; a continuous towel system that supplies the user with a clean towel; a heated-air hand drying device; or a hand drying device that employs an air-knife system that delivers high velocity, pressurized air at ambient temperatures. Per conversation with facility, mop sink is used to wash hands. EHS advises facility to use sink that is next to dish washing machine that is within laundry room to wash hands in between handling soiled and clean linen. EHS advised facility to supply hand soap and a method to dry hands at that sink (paper towels). REPEAT VIOLATION. |
