15A NCAC 18A .1823 (c ) Ice used for room service shall be manufactured from a water supply that complies with 15A NCAC .1700 rules and 15A NCAC 18C rules and shall be stored and handled in a manner so as to prevent contamination. Observed the ice machine on the first floor with pink slime build up inside the ice dispensing shout, as well as the hard build up stained around catch basin. Need cleaning. REPEAT |

15A NCAC 18A .1825 (c ) A handwashing sink, located to allow use by employees handling clean and soiled linen, shall be provided. This requirement shall be effective one year after the effective date of this Rule. Observed no functioning hand washing sink in the laundry room. When asked employees where do they wash their hand before handling clean linens, Employees stated that hand wash happening at the mop sink. The mop sink was used as dual purpose. NOTE: there is a sink that maybe used as hand sink in adjacent room that has eyewash equipment attached to it. Designate this sink as handwashing by installing soap dispenser and supplying disposable towels for drying hands. |

15A NCAC 18A .1826 (h) Furnishings, bathroom fixtures, carpets, and other accessories in guest rooms, shall be kept clean and in good repair. Observed stained on/under the red sofa chair in room (203, 327). Room 327, observed stained on top pillows on the pullout bed, loose/broken cabinet shelving where the refrigerator located. Room 203, observed minor ripped on the arm of the pullout bed, broken gasket on the refrigerator. Room 103, Observed broken baseboard where the refrigerator located. Need replace/repair. REPEAT. |
