All hazardous items must be stored behind lock and key. 15A NCAC 18A .2820 (b). Observed NABC Concentrate non-acid disinfectant bathroom cleaner stored on high shelving throughout all rooms in center. Per guidance from DHHS this is a chemical cleaner and should be stored behind lock and key. During time of inspection all disinfectant bathroom cleaner were properly locked away. If violation is observed during next inspection, demerits have to be taken. |

Keep all floors, walls, and ceilings, clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2824 and .2825. Observed heavy ceiling damage near main entrance of building. LEUSA and code enforcement are involved and have posted a notice of violation. EHS advise center to have ceiling damaged repaired immediately. (EHS will continue to make follow up visit to ensure ceiling damage is repaired). Observed minor touch up paint needed (behind handsinks, some walling within center). |
