15A NCAC 18A .1827(e ) Chemical sanitizers and other chemical antimicrobials applied to food-contact surfaces shall meet the requirements specified in 40 CFR 180.940. Through discussion housekeeper said she just sprays the ice bucket lids with the general cleaner (yellow). Ice bucket lids are food contact surfaces (bottom side) and must be cleaned and sanitized with detergent and sanitizer that is approved for food contact surfaces or run through dishwasher in kitchen. |
