15A NCAC 18A .2804 (d) All human milk, formula, and other bottled beverages, including beverages in sippy cups, that are sent from home shall be fully prepared and labeled with the date received at the child care center and the name of the child to whom the milk, formula, or beverage belongs before being brought to the child care center.- Observed bottles in infant room without date. The other bottles labeling was faded from dry eraser. Ensure to have name and date label clearly and legibly on items at all time.

Water to drink and in the warmer came from food prep hand washing sink. EHS advises staff that drinking water and food prep water shall come from kitchen, water fountains or water bottles at the time of inspection. |

General Comment:
15A NCAC 18A .2815 (e) (e) Hot water used for cleaning and sanitizing utensils and laundry shall be provided at a minimum temperature of 120 degrees Fahrenheit at the point of use.- Currently all cleaning is handled in the main building kitchen. Observed no available hot water coming out from faucet at 3 compartment sinks in Annex kitchen. The center shall provide hot running water at a minimum temperature of 120F at 3 compartment sinks at all time. |

15A NCAC 18A .2820 (g).Purses, that do not contain hazardous items, must be stored 5 ft above the floor, behind lock and key, or behind a child safety lock.- Observed less than 5ft, teacher purses/bags in unlocked closet (prop open, not close all the way) in room 3, 6, Annex room 9. Observed teacher bag hanging down from a hook less than 5ft in room 2. Ensure all teacher personal belongings that contain no hazardous items store at 5ft or higher at all time. Or store them in a lock closet at anytime. |
