15A NCAC 18A .1824(h) Sinks in guest rooms shall be sanitized before washing multi-use utensils. Observed employees not properly cleaning ice buckets in rooms. Make sure to sanitize sink in room and then wash, rinse, and sanitize the ice bucket lids in the sinks. Also in order to wash the ice buckets each house keeping cart shall be provided with dish washing soap of some kind. Recommend a standard operating procedure on how this shaqll be done. |
