General CommentsInspection conducted with manager Ashley and with operator Jony. Immediate suspension of the permit issued due to inoperable Kings III emergency phone and main drain cover change without PDSC approval. Pool must remain closed with signs posted until both items have been corrected. Once corrected, call Hope McIntosh at 980-229-7549 to schedule a re-inspection. At that time, other intent to suspend items listed on the inspection will also be evaluated and if remain non-compliant, a 30-day intent to suspend may be issued. PDSC form emailed to manager during inspection for main drain change. Complete and submit to pdsc@mecknc.gov as soon as possible. Pool cannot be re-inspected for opening until this form is approved by the department. In addition, 5 Aquastar Equalizer covers will expire 9/25/23. These covers must be changed and PDSC form approved by the department prior to their expiration or Equalizers may be permanently disabled according to state guidelines. See the website https://health.mecknc.gov/envhealth/pools for more information on PDSC forms and disabling equalizer lines. Night swimming is not approved at this time. Adjust pool hours on signage to indicate that pool must close for swimming at dusk. If night swimming approval is desired, contact Hope McIntosh to schedule a night time visit to evaluate pool and deck lighting.
