No points were deducted for the following: 2. Observed busted tile in the bio room on the west wing. Observed grout in need of cleaning in the shower in Bathing Suite 1 and 2 on east wing. **Keep all flooring clean. 15A NCAC 18A .1309 (a). 10. Observed solid waste in bed pad in the bathroom in room 225. Needs to be emptied when used. **All bedpans/urinals/emesis basins shall be cleaned after each use. 15A NCAC 18A .1312 (c). 21. Observed trash in bags on the floor in room 225 and bio room (west). **All solid wastes containing food scraps or other decomposable materials shall, prior to disposal, be kept in leak-proof, non-absorbent containers, which shall be kept covered with tight fitting lids when filled or stored, or not in continual use. 15A NCAC 18A .1316 (a). 30. Observed medication cups stored unprotected on various med carts during the inspection. **Food and utensils used on medication carts shall be handled in a sanitary manner. 15A NCAC 18A .1318 (c). 32. Observed curtains torn in room 203. Observed torn pillow in room 119 and 104. Observed med table torn in physical therapy suite. **All furniture, bed springs, mattresses, sleeping mats, draperies, curtains, shades, venetian blinds, or other furnishings in institutions shall be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .1319 (a).
