WORKING CONTAINERS USED FOR STORING CHEMICALS SUCH AS CLEANERS AND SANITIZERS SHALL BE CLEARLY IDENTIFIED WITH THE COMMON NAME OF THE CHEMICAL.
Observed an unlabeled chemical spray bottle in the MFU. Manager verified that the bottle contained sanitizer. EHS coached Manager that all working containers of chemicals must be clearly labeled with the common name of the substance to prevent misuse and ensure safe handling.
Manager immediately labeled the bottle as “SANITIZER.” CDI. *REPEAT* |
