CDI: PIC voluntarily added a date mark to slice cheese and discarded shredded cheese. |

5-501.115 Maintaining Refuse Areas and Enclosures (C) A storage area and enclosure for REFUSE, recyclables, or returnables shall be maintained free of unnecessary items, as specified under § 6-501.114, and clean. EHS observed outside receptacle with build up of unnecessary items around the area.
While these violation conditions were not entirely created by the kitchen staff. It is still out of compliance because these violations create a potential for pest harborage. The school staff and kitchen staff should work together to reach compliance in this regard since it poses a pest risk on the premises of the campus. |
