6-501.12 Cleaning, Frequency and Restrictions (C) (A) PHYSICAL FACILITIES shall be cleaned as often as necessary to keep them clean. EHS observed debris buildup in the cooler ceiling.
6-501.114 Maintaining Premises, Unnecessary Items and Litter (C) The PREMISES shall be free of: (A) Items that are unnecessary to the operation or maintenance of the establishment such as EQUIPMENT that is nonfunctional or no longer used. Guiding EHS observed a commercial mixer which is no longer in use.
It shall be removed as soon as possible. Especially since it has debris and dust accumulated on it.
6-501.11 Repairing - Premises, Structures, Attachments, and Fixtures - Methods (C) PHYSICAL FACILITIES shall be maintained in good repair. Guiding EHS noticed a leaking soap dispenser in the restroom. There is also a damaged floor drain in the kitchen.
The leaking soap dispenser could get soap on the faucet handles and then food employees could get soap on their hands after turning off water; thus contaminating gloves and/or food with soap. |
