#3. Keep all walls and ceilings clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .1310. Continue to touch-up paint door framing throughout where needed. Continue to tightly secure loose edges/corners of wall paper. #19. Ice machines, buckets, other containers, and scoops shall be cleaned on a regular schedule such that they are kept free of scum, rust, mold or other contamination. 15A NCAC 18A .1314 (b). Observed interior or ice machine soiled in ICU nourishment. Thoroughly clean interior of ice machine nourishment. Observed ice machine used for hospital equipment (non consumable) soiled on 4th floor. Thoroughly clean interior of all ice machines. #32. All furniture, bed springs, mattresses, sleeping mats, draperies, curtains, shades, venetian blinds, or other furnishings in institutions shall be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .1319 (a). Observed laminate coming off over bed tables. Hospital is in the process of replacing over bed tables. Over bed tables have came in and is continuously being delivered. Clean old tape and adhesive from IV poles/poles on wheelchairs. #35. Patient contact items shall be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .1319 (c). Replace missing and damaged arm rest on wheel chair and geri chair.
